Jeff Simon and team assisted in the building search for this bank, which selected a 4 story Landmark building by the famous Architects McKim, Meade and White.  The bank loved the historic building but it wasn't big enough for their needs.  Our team devised plans and submitted the design to the New York City Landmark Preservation Commission requesting to add two floors on top of the building.  LPC only granted the addition of one floor which was all that we actually needed. The design included the addition of another fire stair and elevator, cleverly hidden within the structure.  The ornamental marble stair and other exquisite details were restored to produce a flagship NYC location for this foreign bank.
