Silber Residence

Having rented the same NYC apartment for 40 years, Ms. Silber decided to purchase it when the building converted to Condos.  She hired JSA&D to redesign her two bedroom, one bath into a two bedroom, two bath with a laundry room.  Her kitchen was enlarged to accommodate her joy of preparing holiday meals for her family.  The living room was also enlarged while creating a comfortable den for visiting nephews to watch TV during family gatherings.  All the old world charm of this pre-war apartment was restored including moldings, refurbishment of the original doors and restoration of an old potato bin located under the kitchen window.
