The Stefanski Residence

As the CFO for Wunderman Worldwide, a division of the advertising giant, Young and Rubicam, Stan Stefanski was in charge of their relocation to 92,500 rentable square feet in an old Manhattan loft building. Jeff was the Architect for this successful project and bonded with Stan who called soon after to say he'd bought a duplex penthouse apartment around the corner from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Jeff recommended that Mr and Mrs Stefanski simply move into the contemporary space.  However, the Mrs. favored traditional design and the two floors were gutted.  Every detail was studied and designed to create a lush and tastefully ornate interior.  However, Stan insisted upon a "masculine" study for himself.  Due to the tiny elevator in the old townhouse, all demolition and construction materials had to be hoisted by crane to build the space.
